My daughter loves the Golden Book, Nurse Nancy. So for Halloween, I made her a Nurse Nancy Costume. The true Nurse Nancy has a dress with a peter pan collar and a full very short skirt, but I wanted to just make something quick and something I wouldn't mind throwing into the dress up box after Halloween. I just made a simple peasant dress and then a little white apron. I used Portobello Pixie's Clair pattern for the top of the peasant dress and then just cut a rectangle for the skirt of it. Then I just made my own apron pattern. The hat pattern I got from a blog ikat bag.
I borrowed this picture from ikat bag's blog
Here's my little Nurse. Isn't she cute?

Oh Melissa, she is so adorable! And I love, love, love how your Nurse Nancy costume turned out. It is way more fun than our aprons! I'm so envious that you are done with your costume - I am still in the middle of Costume #2 (of 3, groan). Thank you for linking back and for emailing me to come visit! I am so glad!
