My little girl is turning 3 next week. For her birthday she's getting a "big girl" room. We're moving a full size bed into her room (it was my present for my 10th birthday). She's getting the "Brooke" Quilt from Pottery Barn which is fabulous! Anyway, I decided to make her an owl pillow to go with it, because I wasn't so much a fan of the ones listed there at PB. I had already been making Sleepy Owl shirts for my etsy shop, so I just turned that into a 3-D version. I think it turned out pretty cute. However, my daughter, (who was sick in that photo) tells me that this baby owl needs a momma owl to keep it warm and cozy, so that may be another project.
I am Momma to three beautiful children. I am blessed to stay at home with them. I have been married to my very best friend for 11 years now. He is a Children’s Pastor and we love our church. The blogging world is a wonderful outlet for creative ideas and projects. It’s a fun distraction for those less than glamorous moments of motherhood. I used have a little Etsy shop, Perry Jayne. I loved creating special shirts for my customers, but now that the kids are bigger... I just don't have the time.
