Ella's new dress that I told you about in a previous post is FINALLY done! Yea! I used one of Sandi Henderson's patterns. The pattern is Portabellopixie Boutique Pattern - Claire and then there are several dress patterns inside and I made the Round Apron Dress. I bought the pattern on etsy from sewlovefabrics. Didn't see any in her shop today (although there are fabrics I'm drooling over), but you can find the pattern in several shops on etsy.com.
I was so worried about it turning out well. My sewing skills are probably still in the beginner range when it comes to following a pattern. I had never used bias tape, never done an elastic neck and sleeves, BUT it was much easier than I had thought. The directions were really good and the pattern booklet had great pictures. 
She loves her dress and has decided that she will wear it to church for Mother's Day. Which is what I was planning anyway.
